Teddy Fisher is backing a three-angler team competing at the World Carp Classic 2026. We are following their preparations, their choice of baits, their tactics and the event itself, day by day.

Fine 2mm fishmeal pellets that break down fast, ideal for building a feed line on the WCC lake bed.
The team’s go-to groundbait for spod mixes: heavy, active and it holds its scent in deep water.
Tiger nut glug hookbaits stay on through long waits and stand out over a bed of pellet.

A 31 lb common at 2am and a 27 lb mirror at first light, both on Tiger Nuts glug hookbaits over the bar. Sector B is fishing slowly, so two fish puts the team near the front early on.
Peg draw at 8am, the lads pulled peg 14 in sector B: open water in front, a gravel bar at 60 yards. Baited with FUSION pellet and groundbait, first bites expected overnight.
Spirits high, weather settled.
Five hard days on a lake that never gave a fish away easily. The lads held a top-three sector place from the second night and never dropped out of it, finishing 3rd in Sector B and inside the top fifteen overall.
A proper effort in tough conditions, and a result to build on for 2027.
